    Scott T. Winget, Psy.D., ABSNP is a Maryland Licensed Psychologist and Managing Director of the Monocacy Neurodevelopmental Center. He is a Board Certified Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Dr. Winget maintains membership with the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA). He earned his Doctorate in Psychology from the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. He completed his Pre-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Winget provides assessment and treatment services and has been practicing in Maryland since 1991. From 2001 to 2011 Dr. Winget was also a psychologist with the Frederick County Infants and Toddlers Program.

    Ralph McBee, Psy.D., BCBA-D is a Maryland Licensed Psychologist and Co-Director of the Monocacy Neurodevelopmental Center. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Dr. McBee earned his Doctorate in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois. He completed his Pre-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Internship at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Center and Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. McBee provides behavioral assessment and treatment services and has been practicing in Maryland since 2001. He specializes in ABA treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as behavioral treatments for anxiety across the life span.

    Steven G. Feifer, D. Ed., NCSP, ABSNP is a nationally renowned speaker in the field of learning disabilities, and has authored six books on learning and emotional disorders in children. He has 19 years of experience as a school psychologist in three different school systems. Dr. Feifer conducts neuropsychological assessments and is director of the neurofeedback program at the Monocacy Neurodevelopmental Center. He is also an adjunct professor at George Washington University, and is a Diplomate and a clinical supervisor with the American Board of School Neuropsychology training program. Dr. Feifer was voted the Maryland School Psychologist of the Year in 2008, and awarded the 2009 National School Psychologist of the Year. In 2011, he was honored as Distinguished Alumni Scholar of the Year by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania College of Education.

    Karen Newman, M.A.. is a Family Consultant and Adult Life Planner for the Monocacy Start Center. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from James Madison University and a Master of Arts Degree from Hood College. Ms. Newman also holds a certificate for School Administration and Supervision. She worked in the special education department with Washington County Public Schools for 31 years, where she held a variety of positions from special education classroom teacher to coordinator of special education programs for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and other significant disabilities. Her additional professional experience includes working as an adult disabilities program administrator for a community agency for 5 years. She has conducted and led courses, professional development, and workshops for teachers, educational support staff, and parents on topics in special education.

    Amy Jacobs, M.S., CALT, is a Family Consultant for Monocacy Start Center. Ms. Jacobs earned her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Baylor University. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Learning Therapy from Southern Methodist University in 2006. Ms. Jacobs worked with young children and teens diagnosed with learning disabilities teaching reading, writing, and study skills. She also worked with high functioning autism children providing reading therapy, organizational skills, time management, and written expression therapy. She has conducted presentations for teachers, educational staff and parents on understanding learning disabilities and the importance of academic accommodations.

    Ms. Llewellyn earned her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. She has been practicing Behavior Analysis as an RBT since 2014 in Virginia, and in 2017, she became a BCBA in Maryland through the Monocacy Start Center. Ms. Llewellyn specializes in early intervention practices for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    Rachel M. Bassler, M.S., BCBA, LBA earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from McDaniel University and her Certificate of Completion in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. Prior to earning her Board Certification in 2015, she was a special education teacher in Carroll County Public School’s regional autism program. Ms. Bassler has been working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the past 7 years. She specializes in early intervention and verbal behavior practices.

    Michele McBee, Psy.D., is a Maryland Licensed Psychologist with an extensive work history at the Monocacy Start Center. She graduated in 2000 with a Doctorate in Psychology from Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. McBee provides psychotherapy services to both male and female adult and adolescent patients, some of which can additionally be supported through family therapy.

    Megan Steiner, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Maryland Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Ms. Steiner earned her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland and she completed her Bachelors of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University in Maryland. Ms. Steiner has been practicing in Maryland since 2009 and is currently a speech-language pathologist with the Frederick County Infants and Toddlers Program. She provides individual and group therapy for school age children with receptive, expressive and pragmatic communication difficulties.

    Lizette Ubides, LCSW-C is a Graduate from the School of Social Work at New York University. Ms. Ubides has worked in the Mental Health field for over 20 years providing services to children and adults with persistent and chronic mental illnesses. She specializes in ADHD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Mood Disorders, and Sexually Reactive Behaviors in Children.

    Donna Marrapodi is the Monocacy Start Center Office Manager. Ms. Marrapodi is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the administrative office, including billing and supervision of the administrative staff. She has more than 20 years of experience in administration with an emphasis on human resources, employee relations, recruiting, and personnel development. Ms. Marrapodi received her B.S in Business and Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
