  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst

    The Monocacy Start Center is looking for talented and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our incredible team of staff. We take pride in supporting, teaching, and encouraging children through their successes of each customized, goal-oriented ABA program.

    Qualifications

    • BCBA certification
    • Hold or be eligible for a Maryland State License as a Behavior Analyst
    • Experience in developing and implementing home and community-based ABA programs
    • Experience in supervision of Behavior Technicians and/or Registered Behavior Technicians
    • Effective documentation and time management skills
    • Experience working with children with behavior problems and/or developmental disabilities
    • Comfortable with online practice management tools

    Clinical and Administrative Responsibilities

    • Various case management duties
    • Develop and establish treatment plans, with goals and objectives, based on data and behavioral observations
    • Implement and oversee individualized home and community ABA programs
    • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and/or Behavior Technicians
    • Monitor treatment effectiveness by review of data collection
    • Professional and timely completion of documentation
    • Phone and email correspondence to parents, coworkers, and outside agencies in a timely and professional manner

  • Behavior Technician

    The Monocacy Start Center is looking for talented and passionate Behavior Technicians to join our incredible team. Our Technicians make a difference through teaching and encouraging children in each home program. Positions are available for Frederick County, Montgomery County, Allegeny County, and Washington County.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Flexible early evenings and some weekend availability
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
    • Some knowledge of and/or experience with children who have autism is preferred.

    Benefits

Our Technicians make a difference through teaching and encouraging children in each ABA program. Positions are available for Frederick County, Montgomery County, and Washington County.

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or ABA (preferred but not required)
    • Experience in implementing home and community based ABA therapy
    • Reliable form of transportation
    • Ability to pass a state and federal background check
    • Experience working with children with behavioral issues and/or developmental disabilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time management skills
    • Enthusiastic team-player
